Elise? Ellise? Ellis?

Hi everyone,

I’d like to find a girl name that has similar pronunciation with “Alice” but starts with “El.”

I like the sound “EH – l – ih – s” but not sure how it is spelled in the US.
How would you spell it?

Here are some “El” options I found online:
Ellis. (Boy name?)
Elise. (Pronounces “E–lees”? Don’t really like the sound of “E.”)
Ellise. (How does it pronounce?)

Alise I'd say like Elise but with more emphasis on the A.

Ellice is a pretty and uncommon name. Meets your criteria too...

I think you would get away with pronouncing it Ellis too....
