My waters broke late last night, no contractions yet, being induced at 3pm if I don't start so baby will be here either today or tomorrow.

We are stuck between 3 first names and 4 middle names.

Rosemary, Rosalind and Josephine are the first names.

First middle name will be Maple or Willow. [trees]

Second middle name will be Mere (only with Willow not Maple) or Lake [bodies of water]

Rosemary Willow Lake
Rosemary Willow Mere
Rosalind Maple Lake
Rosalind Willow Lake
Rosalind Willow Mere
Josephine Willow Lake
Josephine Willow Mere
Josephine Maple Lake

If you tag Lake or Mere onto Willow or Maple it will sound like a name and address. People may hear Rosa Lind, Willow Lake

So my suggestion is Rosemary Willow followed by
Delta
Aqua
Hali (Greek for sea)
Shannon, Lee, Liffey (name of particular rivers in Ireland)
Sailor (funky name for a girl who can navigate Bay, River and Brook
Lynn (from old English/Gaelic name for a river)

IVflytrap · 07/02/2020 12:52

From your options given, Rosemary Willow Mere. However, I'm hesitant over Mere as it does also have the meaning of small/insignificant. Not a huge fan of Lake, it seems too... obvious, compared with the water names of your other children.

Other possibilities:
Rosalind Willow Beck (means stream)
Rosalind Willow Lea (River Lea)
Rosalind Willow Oceane (Oceane is popular in France)
Rosalind Willow Linn (lin/lyn means "lake" in place names in Britain and Ireland, as in King's Lynn or Dublin).
Rosalind Willow Tarn (pool on the top of a mountain)
Rosalind Willow Marina

Rosalind and Willow are lovely. Josephine is nice, Rosemary isn't bad. I dislike Maple, it seems a bit forced in order to match up with your other kids.

Whatever you decide, hope all goes well Flowers

BikeRunSki · 07/02/2020 12:54

Josephine Willow Mere

Whatsyourflava · 07/02/2020 13:32

Good luck OP

FizzyGreenWater · 07/02/2020 14:05

Josephine Willow Mere.

Really good! Much better than your other thread Grin

Basically the bit that matters is - you're going to be deciding between the options of nns

Rosie, Roz,
Josie, Jo, Jojo, Posy.

I'd definitely go for the second lot of options! Josie is a fab nn.

bluemoon2468 · 08/02/2020 10:39

Don't love the whole body of water thing, but if you need to have one to continue the theme, there are much better options than Mere or Lake 😳

Ocean, Delta, Fjord, Gill, Cove, Harbour, Spring?

I don't love any of them, but they just seem a little prettier?

Rosemary Willow Cove
Rosemary Willow Spring

SoupDragon · 08/02/2020 11:14

Harbour and Fjord?? 😂

Ninkanink · 08/02/2020 11:17

I hope @itmsylifeitsnowornever doesn’t mind me jumping in, but baby has been born and has been given a beautiful set of names! Flowers to mum and baby.

Rosalind Willow Mere

bluemoon2468 · 08/02/2020 13:55

@SoupDragon I mean yeah not great, still prefer them to Mere

Whatsyourflava · 08/02/2020 17:37

@Ninkanink ahh thank you for posting the link! I love an update!! Looks like it’s a Eleanor then?? I LOVE that name xxx

Whatsyourflava · 08/02/2020 17:37

Congratulations @itmsylifeitsnowornever

Ilovewillow · 08/02/2020 18:01

Josephine Willow Mere for me - lovely. My son has two middles names, don't see the issue. My daughter is a Willow. It first name so it's one of my favourites.

Ilovewillow · 08/02/2020 18:05

Just seen the update Elanor is lovely!

Ninkanink · 08/02/2020 19:24

Oh I can’t believe this. Just seen thread title and don’t think I can click 💔
So so sorry to see this. Don’t know what to say xx

Ninkanink · 08/02/2020 20:19

So sorry, should have put a trigger warning.

These things are so difficult.

MrsBertBibby · 08/02/2020 20:50

Mere and Lake aren't great. Beck? Tarn? I think Marine is best though.

Not wild about Willow, but better than Maple.

Rosalind Willow Marine

MrsBertBibby · 08/02/2020 20:51

Oh goodness. What terrible news. Poor poor OP.

Violetroselily · 08/02/2020 21:27

So sorry OP. May your lovely daughter rest in peace Flowers

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 08/02/2020 21:35

I like Rosalind Willow Mere. I had to say it out loud to realize how much I like it as I'm not usually a fan of Willow but I flows well here!

Love Rosalind a lot!!!

I like Mere. Its subtle and pretty. Lake makes it nouny for me like it's the actual name of a lake.

Rachelhaydenberk1 · 08/02/2020 21:38

Oh wow sorry I just saw all the updates. That is extremely painful and upsetting. I'm so sorry to hear :( sending blessings and prayers of peace and hope to you.
