This was my great grandma's name who I had a lovely relationship with when I was little, so the name has always had a special place in my heart. Always thought that one day I'd consider it when I had a baby, and it was so, so rare throughout my whole life until, until lo and behold, I get pregnant and the name is back in fashion! I'm not looking for a name that no one else has, but I'm also not looking for my child to be the next Isla, Olivia, Ava etc. Is Ada heading in that direction? General thoughts on the name?

My aunt is called Ada (I'm quite old) I love that the more old fashioned names are back in circulation.

Our little girl is Ottilie Ada and I love it. Only reason we didn't have Ada as a first name was because of our very long surname

It’s a lovely name! And not as popular as Olivia etc.

Peaky Blinders probably has something to do with it’s current popularity.
