For a boy : Casey, Kaden, Morgan, Mason.
For a girl: Summer, Ashley, Brooke, Ethel.

Apart from Ethel, they’ve got quite a 90s American vibe!

The only one I like is Morgan, for both boys and girls.

I think of Ashley as a boy's name, it doesn't look right for a girl.

As for Ethel - what on earth is that horrible name doing there? It couldn't be further away in style from the others. Don't do that to a child

Ethel is a very very different style from your other choices. Granny chic names are fab, but sorry Ethel is dreadful.
All that said though. I really doesn't matter one jot what we tgink. With names you can 'please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.'

@Whatsyourflava but honestly what Is the point in asking advice on something that’s so exceptionally personal. I find all of those names dreadful. But wtf does it matter what I think? It matters absolutely nothing. Therefore go with what you prefer as a parent/what best suits your child.

Sorry I don't like any of your boys' names. For some possibly similar sounds or feel I suggest: Aidan, Simon, Maxim, Euan, Angus, Rory, all of which I like.
I really like Summer from your girl's list. Brooke is okay. Other ideas: Edith, Edie, Thea, Erin, Skye.

Morgan is a classic, for a boy or a girl. Just consider that hard g in the middle - make sure it goes with your surname and any middle names you have picked out. I'd also consider the Scotttish Morven or Welsh Morwen for a girl.

I know a Mason, aged 10, and it is his mother's maiden name. I don't know if I would choose it without the family connection, but it definitely works for him - it's strong, simple, easy to pronounce, but not common/ubiquitous. He gets called Mase/Mace a lot too, which is OK.

I dislike Kaden; it seems like a made-up name. Casey also strikes me as a nickname or maybe a surname. Hate Summer; sorry. The rest are fine.

Dislike Kaden and Ethel. I wouldn’t choose any of your other names personally but I wouldn’t blink an eye meeting a baby with any of those names.
