What do you think of these names ?

For a boy : Casey, Kaden, Morgan, Mason.
For a girl: Summer, Ashley, Brooke, Ethel.

Sorry they’re all bad but Ethel is the worst.

Of your boys I like Mason and Morgan best. Of your girls, I like Brooke best.

Casey and Morgan are the best of the boys' names. Do you like Mitchell?

Ethels a bit old lady, but the others are proper class names op. like Jayden and macy-mae xx

I have a Mason.A lot of people think it's a "naughty boy " name but I'm happy to say in my case its not

If I had to choose a name from your list then it would be Casey, although I only know girls called that.

If you live on a trailer park in America it will be fine.

@Strongmummy this is literally a Baby Names thread ... people come on here to post about names. I’m more confused as to why you’re posting on it if you feel so strongly.

OP- I think Summer and Brooke are nice. Morgan too. Not keen on the others - very Americanised to my ears.

Ethel is the only one I like, the others are awful.

I wouldn't choose any of those names personally, none to my taste... but if you like them go for it! Life would be very boring if we all stuck with the same names. I would spell Ashley for a girl differently... Ashlee or Ashleigh. If I had to bite the bullet, Kaden would be my favourite from your boys list and Ashleigh from the girls.

I like Summer but I like season names a lot! They never get old for me personally.

Im American and they are very common American popular names - except the old fashioned Ethel which is just shocking because it's not one of the vintage names coming back in style.

I'll suggest Hazel as I think it kinda blends all tour choices into a more modern fashioned name! I'm not a fan of Hazel personally but it's a name that I thought of when reading the other names you like - for a girl.

For a boy, please not Mason or Kaden - way overused here in America! Casey or Morgan arent as bad but i still dont like them honestly. I'll suggest Carey which I love for a boy or Maddox which I prefer over Mason. If you love one if your names though you should go for it! I'm just giving my opinion but opinions are a dime a dozen.

Ethel is lovely. The only decent one on your list... the rest are too Americanised. Not sure why people don't like Ethel... it's definitely making a comeback
