Vita? I saw this suggested on another thread and I love the meaning and sound.

Middle names will be Catherine + Mary/Jane/Iris.

Other first name ideas we’re playing with at the moment: Phoebe, Verity, Louisa, Lucy, Emma, Freya, Beatrice.

Siblings are Alexander, Ellen, Orla and Daphne

I like it!
Unusual and positive sounding -if that makes sense.
All your other names are nice (except don't like verity. Hate freya) but think Vita stands out in a nice way

MrsBertBibby · 21/01/2020 23:42

Very nice, like Vita Sackville West. Verity is also lovely.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 21/01/2020 23:44

Love it.

YesThatsATurdOnTheRug · 21/01/2020 23:45

Vita Sackville West is actually Victoria Mary. I think it stands as a name on it's own though.

I like it OP, a classy set of names!

DramaAlpaca · 21/01/2020 23:47

Yes, good name.

SheChoseDown · 21/01/2020 23:47

If your surname is Jones don't have vita Catherine.

Nice name though. I like all the sibling names too! I love Emma but it's very close to Ellen

Clettercletterthatsbetter · 22/01/2020 02:56

It’s ok. I prefer Verity.

puds11 · 22/01/2020 02:57

Reminds me of ryvita Confused

pollywobble · 22/01/2020 03:41

Love it ..and Phoebe

OwlBeThere · 22/01/2020 04:00

I like it, prefer Iris though. But yeah its good, I like it the best out of all the other potential first names except maybe Emma but that’s too similar to Ellen imo.

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 22/01/2020 04:48

Everyone will think you meant Rita

NoSauce · 22/01/2020 07:00

Fab.

macdhui · 22/01/2020 07:06

Like it but love Verity and Phoebe

Omashu · 22/01/2020 07:08

I really dislike it. I’m all for unusual names but I don’t think Vita sounds nice. I love Vada though!

SuperMeerkat · 22/01/2020 07:18

Makes me think of the breakfast biscuits I eat ‘BelVita’ It’s a thumbs down from me 🤦‍♀️

Madcats · 22/01/2020 07:19

Just to warn you that lots of people seem unable to spell "Phoebe". TBF they usually mess up our 6-letter surname too, but it really annoys DC.

OwlBeThere · 22/01/2020 07:24

@thatmustbenigelwiththebrie Confused why would anyone think that?

Moondancer73 · 22/01/2020 07:31

Lovely, very strong and pretty.

Mummyeyes · 22/01/2020 07:45

Love Vita.

You will get Évita which is also nice.

user1493494961 · 22/01/2020 07:51

Dislike, much prefer the other names on your list. I suppose you could have Verity, but call her Vita as a nickname. (As pp said, Vita Sackville-West's name was a nickname.)

Mumma4262 · 22/01/2020 07:56

I’m not too keen on Vita, I also prefer Veda as a pp suggested but prefer it spelt with an “e”.

cptartapp · 22/01/2020 07:57

It's a margarine isn't it?
Stick with Louisa. Lovely name.

Whatsyourflava · 22/01/2020 08:05

Just makes me think of ryvita

Whatsyourflava · 22/01/2020 08:05

These names are gorgeous though:

Phoebe, Verity, Louisa, Lucy, Emma, Freya, Beatrice

Especially phoebe Lucy Emma Freya and Beatrice

Peony99 · 22/01/2020 08:09

Absolutely love it. Far more associated with Vita Sackville-West than Ryvita!
