Narrowed to five (this is for cousin who doesn’t have account and would like to know opinions)

Surname is the colour of the sky on a miserable overcast day. Spelt “Ay” not “Ey” if that makes a difference. Smile

Vivian
Lucy
Della
Honor
Siena

Middle name Marie after family member.

Thanks in advance Grin

Honor is my favourite from that list.

NannyR · 20/11/2019 13:37

I like Lucy best. Vivian looks wrong to me for a girl, I think it's traditionally the male spelling and Vivienne the female spelling.

Thetimetravelerswife · 20/11/2019 13:38

I also like honor. But I don’t think I would personally use it. Lucy is cute

Leopardprintboots · 20/11/2019 13:43

Lucy or Siena

DramaAlpaca · 20/11/2019 13:45

Lucy is my favourite.

Or Vivien - spelled that way, Vivian is traditionally a boys' name.

MrsNoMopp · 20/11/2019 14:08

Vivian - too similar to Oscar Wilde character Dorian with the same surname
Lucy - like
Della - like, but not sure it goes with surname. Sounds like delegate, denigrade.
Honor - quite nice
Siena - like

MrsFoxPlus4Again · 20/11/2019 14:09

Della or Honor!

cptartapp · 20/11/2019 14:14

VIvian-ugly
Lucy-rather bland but the best of the list
Della-dislike
Honor-dislike
Siena-overused and looks wrongly spelt

MikeUniformMike · 20/11/2019 14:17

Vivian - boy's name. Vivien is the girl's name. Nice but will shorten to Viv.
Lucy - lovely
Della - nice
Honor - ok
Siena - Sienna is the usual spelling. not keen,

Winterdaysarehere · 20/11/2019 14:18

Honor is lovely. Vivienne is getting popular. I know of a Vivi..

MrsBertBibby · 20/11/2019 14:20

Vivien is gorgeous!
Lucy and Della are meh.
Honor is very very good.

Sienna is a colour. Don't use it with a colour surname!

FizzyGreenWater · 20/11/2019 14:30

Vivian that way is a boy's name: Vivien, or Vivienne is the girl version.
Honor is good.
Don't like Della or Siena at all.
Lucy is lovely if a tiny bit boring.

Changedname81 · 20/11/2019 14:35

Sienna is a colour.
Siena is the place, hence the spelling (plus it has a special connection to them) Grin

Noted re: spelling of Vivien.

Thanks to all so far.

I like Marie best!

merryhouse · 20/11/2019 14:45

I thought the same as MrsNoMopp re Vivien * Grin

Lucy * works well in a Tudor Aristocrat kind of way.

Della * sounds odd - as if you've suddenly lapsed into French.

Siena may well be a meaningful place but lots of people will assume it's the colour.

userabcname · 20/11/2019 14:46

Vivien/Vivienne is my favourite.

yikesanotherbooboo · 20/11/2019 14:47

I like Vivien, Lucy, Della and Honor .
Not keen on Siena.

Timetobegood · 20/11/2019 14:48

I only like Lucy.

GoingBackTo505 · 20/11/2019 14:49

Vivian is my favourite bit I prefer it spelled Vivienne.

BroomstickOfLove · 20/11/2019 14:50

Vivienne/Vivien is my favourite.

Whoops75 · 20/11/2019 14:50

Vivian - boys name, Vivienne is girls version
Lucy- second favorite
Della- my favorite
Honor- don’t like this
Siena- it’s ok

LarkDescending · 20/11/2019 14:50

Honor is lovely, rare and elegant. Lucy very nice in a more familiar way. Those are the only two options I like.

TatianaLarina · 20/11/2019 15:49

Honor LOVE.

The others are ok.

Vivien is an 80s beautician. Love Viva though (pronounced Veeva).

midsomermurderess · 20/11/2019 16:10

Honour and Della.

Leopardprintboots · 20/11/2019 16:14

I just adore the name Lucy. An absolute classic that you rally don’t hear much
