Narrowed to five (this is for cousin who doesn’t have account and would like to know opinions)

Surname is the colour of the sky on a miserable overcast day. Spelt “Ay” not “Ey” if that makes a difference. Smile

Vivian
Lucy
Della
Honor
Siena

Middle name Marie after family member.

Thanks in advance Grin

don’t like Della.

Think Honor and Lucy are the best.

IFartGlitterAndRainbows · 20/11/2019 16:18

I like Della the best. Then Lucy, then sienna

Jj2431 · 20/11/2019 16:29

I like Vivian and Lucy but think I like Lucy best

notalwaysalondoner · 20/11/2019 16:37

Vivien goes beautifully with your surname, I love the rhythm!
Lucy is quite plain, and especially with a single syllable surname. But I was born at the time when there were Lucys everywhere (I'm 30ish now)
Della is unusual and I don't really like it
Honor is classic, I really like it
Siena I'm not personally a fan of, but again I like the three syllables with the single syllable surname

daisypond · 20/11/2019 16:56

Vivien or Honor or Lucy. I like the three syllables of Vivien with a two-syllable surname. Do not spell it Vivienne!

HuntersMammy · 20/11/2019 16:59

Sienna

GwenCooper81 · 20/11/2019 17:00

I like Lucie. I like with an ie to match the Marie.
I love Honor.

HuntersMammy · 20/11/2019 17:00

I think Siena is the nicest on the list and goes lovely with middle and surname x

TheVanguardSix · 20/11/2019 17:05

Lucy goes perfectly with your surname and would make a gorgeous name.
Vivienne is my 2nd favourite.
Honor is my third.
I was going to suggest the name Hero, but I'm not sure it would work with your surname.

Mamabear88 · 20/11/2019 17:34

Lucy Marie Gray sounds lovely. Not keen on the others, sorry.

BonBon411 · 20/11/2019 17:38

I like Honor the best, but they are all lovely.

Staffori · 20/11/2019 20:26

Lucy - not keen on any of the others.

Gottheteeshirtandlostit · 20/11/2019 20:31

Honor and Della.

helpiamstressedbuthey · 20/11/2019 21:13

I love Sienna spelt with two n’s but Honor is also lovely

diddlediddle · 20/11/2019 21:20

Vivian - as pp said, too reminiscent of Dorian when paired with your last name
Lucy - nice
Della - nice
Honor - like the name but not sure how brilliantly it goes with the surname
Siena - irrespective of the spelling (most people won't be aware of the distinction - and when said out loud it's the same) it is too much like two colours together

Lucy or Della both good options

RowenaMud · 20/11/2019 22:17

Vivian absolutely. It is a great name.
Honor is lovely but I would never see myself using it.
Others not to my taste and especially not Lucy.. Way too many Lucys.

tomatosoup4 · 20/11/2019 22:27

Vivienne is better spelt like this. And that's the name o like from the list and goes with Marie.

AfterSomeAdvice1234 · 20/11/2019 22:32

Vivi Gray is great
I went to school with a Lucy Gray and think that's a great name too!

The other options are alright

spacepyramid · 20/11/2019 22:35

Vivian is lovely with that middle name and surname. Both the females I know called Vivian are spelt Vivian.

Otherwisebaldandunconvincing · 20/11/2019 23:15

Vivian - I wouldn't use the male spelling. But I don't really like Vivien either. Vivienne is better in my view.
Lucy - feels really different from your other choices. I like it but it feels very popular and normal
Della - don't like
Honor - I really like Honor but feel as though Honor Gray runs into each other a bit too much. It sounds like one word.
Siena - not keen.
Vivienne would be my pick followed by Lucy.

Whattodoabout · 21/11/2019 10:10

Lucy.

Astronica · 21/11/2019 12:46

Lucy is my favourite. I really like it with Marie and the surname.

I don't mind Vivien and Honor. I dislike Della and Siena.
