Use Valeria if it's your Grandmothers name. I've never heard of it but it has a nice sound and obviously a nice connection to your family.

Elowen sounds too similar to Rowan to me. Given it’s one of the fastest rising boys’ names, she could well be in a class with a couple. Would it bother you if the names got mixed up quite a lot or misheard xx

They all seem very "trying hard to be middle class" to me. Maeve, violet and valeria are ok. The others are just so try hard

I like Valaria, Elodie. Don't mind Fleur and Violet, not keen on Maeve. The others sound like strange and made up names.

Gentian Violet used to be an antimicrobial treatment for thrush.

Please don't use it as a name.

Only like Violet. Gentian is very odd, Gentian Violet is an old-fashioned antiseptic so don't use the two names together.

How is Valaria pronounced?

I think Valeria is beautiful and I like Fleur too. Have you considered Viola? Pronounced Vy-ola. I've always thought it was lovely since I heard it in Twelfth Night.

Maeve is lovely. The rest sound pretentious like the names an overly invested in literature teenager would come up with.

Elowen or Maeve are my favs.
