What do you think of the name Imogen? Dh loves it! I think it's very pretty. Just wondering what general thoughts were. Also wondering what middle name would go with it?

Not my cup of tea. Just okay. It's a very plain name and quite wet IMO.

Really gorgeous name. I imagine all Imogen’s to be pretty, wise, straightforward, self motivating and athletic!

To be really honest I think it's an ugly name. But everyone has different opinions. You might dislike my children's names. I say if you love it then choose it! Your child- your choice.

Thanks everyone! This is all very interesting and helpful.

It really is a marmite name, think that's why I'm not 100% sold even though it is a lovely name.

Loving lots of the middle names suggested.

I love it but I’m biased my dd is Imogen Evangeline. As a toddler we used the nn Immy but once she started school she didn’t like it and requested we call her Imogen.
Dd is now early teens and goes by Midge or Idgy.

Love the name Imogen!

My DD has a "marmite" name that isn't well liked on here in particular but I love it and it really suits her Smile

Really like it. It's kinda classic but not in an old fashioned way but also not too modern.

I don't like it sorry, I don't like the way it looks or sounds. I remember someone once saying it sounded like a company name on an industrial estate and they're right. It doesn't shorten nicely either.

I really like it. I know two in their 20s who are smart and gorgeous.
One of them gets called Mojo though 🙈 which I actually find hilarious
