Ada.

My DP loves it and I am on the fence.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Awwlookatmybabyspider · 24/08/2019 22:07

Sorry to be negative, but i don’t like it,

NoCureForLove · 24/08/2019 22:09

Adeline nn Ada?
Will get misheard as the more popular Ava.

diddlediddle · 24/08/2019 22:10

Perfectly nice

NoSauce · 24/08/2019 22:13

Sorry OP but I really dislike it. Seems so dowdy and ugly to me.

HappyDinosaur · 24/08/2019 22:14

I like it, short and sweet.

LucieFurr · 24/08/2019 22:15

It sounds like an old person's name

DariaMorgendorffer · 24/08/2019 22:15

Love it

Nautiloid · 24/08/2019 22:16

It's nice, but if you don't love it I'd keep looking.

SilverySurfer · 24/08/2019 22:18

Sorry but to me it reminds me of someone I knew many years ago.
She was an old woman who always wore a nylon overall with a fag hanging out of her mouth.

LynetteScavo · 24/08/2019 22:19

It's nice

20viona · 24/08/2019 22:26

It's super popular at the moment. I'd go with Ayda and pronounce it Ida not Ada.

FrownPrincess · 24/08/2019 22:45

I misread it as Asda Confused

SallyWD · 24/08/2019 22:48

I prefer Ida

Sophronia · 24/08/2019 22:54

I like it. Adelaide nn Ada is nice too.

Aquamarine1029 · 24/08/2019 22:55

No. Clunky and ugly.

Pixilicious · 24/08/2019 22:56

Love it

CassianAndor · 24/08/2019 22:56

I don’t really like it but I know one and it never gets misheard as Ava, what a bizarre comment.

LarkDescending · 24/08/2019 22:59

It doesn’t do anything for me. Do you have others in mind?

PascaleBrockman74 · 24/08/2019 22:59

I’ve always loved the name Santiago for a girl! My son is called Alejandro and I’ve heard it’s a multi gender name.

Proseccoinamug · 24/08/2019 23:00

I really love it

underthebridgedowntown · 24/08/2019 23:02

Ada Lovelace, awesome namesake Smile

isntshelovely11 · 24/08/2019 23:03

If I saw Ada written down somewhere I'd assume it was an abbreviation

ChippingInLowCarbing · 24/08/2019 23:03

It was my ex’s Grandmithers name. A truly lovely woman, but I’m not wildly keen on it for a baby/child/teen/pre retirement adult - she’ll come into it late in life!!

Keep looking 🌷

If you don’t live it, keep looking or you’ll be back in a few months asking if it’s too late to change it!!

Oakandlove · 24/08/2019 23:18

I think it's nice, nothing wrong with it.

NeelixFelicis · 24/08/2019 23:23

I remember watching Ada & Cissie when growing up. The name is ruined for me.
