Rate my names!

I've shortlisted my names list (I think). The only way I managed to do it was by actually writing them down on paper to see if I liked the way I physically wrote her name 🤔

So here we go! Rose will come into it somewhere as it was DP mums name who sadly passed a few years ago. I'm not a huge fan of double barrelled first names though, so will be a middle name at least.

I only like Rosalie and Mabel.

2. Mabel Rose - meh
3. Aubrey Rose - boy’s name
4. Minnie Rose - slang for vagina
5. Autumn Rose - no
6. Winter Rose - no
7. Dottie Rose (is hanging onto my shortlist by a thread) definitely not. Slang for someone with mental health problems. Awful name.

Rosalie makes me think of the rhyming slang for cup of tea.

So I’d probably go for Rose or Rosamund instead.

I have an Aubrey Grace, some people love it others not so much but I have no regrets. (Not double barrelled)
