Camille and ...."twin 2"....help please

We've just discovered we're having twins.

One definitely appears to be a girl. The second we're not sure. So is "twin 2" Grin

I have partial french heritage and so love the name Camille. I like Claudia for her potential sister, but don't love it like Camille. Any suggestions? Also keen on Adrianna and love Eugenie, but I think she'd forever get the Fergie reference. Saskia is pretty but not too sure it goes with Camille.

For a brother, bit stumped. Potentials are Max, Harry, Edward, Marcus and Charles. My favourite of those is Charles, but then I can't really have a Charles and Camille...

Any thoughts?

I don’t know why, but I thought Elinor when I saw Camille...it’s not even how I’d usually spell it, but it felt like it would go! Claudia doesn’t work with Camille imo - how about Claudine, to keep the French theme?

Otto for a boy? Though I do like Marcus and Max.

Congratulations btw - how exciting!

Courtney555 · 21/07/2019 19:49

I really like Madeleine, but (seriously not being baity) sadly too synonymous with McCann imo.

Twin mum here. I would avoid anything with the same initial as that can be confusing. Also anything that says set - so yes no Charles and Camille Grin. I like all of your other boy names. Also Adrianna goes well. Lots of the suggestions above are pretty too.

songlikeyou · 21/07/2019 20:18

Emmanuelle
Elisabeth
Rebecca
Delphine

Laurence
Dominic
Gabriel
Victor

Helena, Irina, Olive, Juillet, and Elaina are also contenders.

Would Juillet be obvious to most how to pronounce? (Jus-let/Choo-let) or do you think she'd be forever correcting Juliet?

Alexine / Alexandre

Antoinette?

daisypond · 21/07/2019 21:33

Juillet as in July? I don’t know that as a name. Might be mangled in the UK, but as it’s a month some will learn it in school. For twins I’d avoid names with the same initial. Delphine? Marine?
