I really like sheila for a baby girl- what do you think? I haven’t met a baby sheila for years!
Any other 1940/ 50’s names that’ll be coming back next?

My sister is a 50 year old Sheila and she's fab! She doesn't get any nonsense about it being Aussie slang.

MIL is a Sheila, so it is a no from me. What about Beryl? It has awful press but if you think of the sound, it is ok.
( loads of Martha’s round here)

Beryls not quite right somehow for me...I like the ssss sounds. Maybe Sylvia or Sybil....

Give it another 15 - 20 years and all the Sheilas will be in their 80s and 90s rather than 60s, tipping into 70s, and it will no doubt come round again, but I think you are ahead of the time.

Hard not to think of that bright pink writing and the jingle about shelia and her wheels. But then again, until people started calling their kids Sebastian, it was hard not to associate that name with a crab. Maybe you can reinvent the name.

I know 5.... well, I think one might be in her 70s, possibly a second, just, but 5 in that 60-75 age band, without really starting to think.
