India or Claudia?

Title is pretty much self explanatory- we're having a little girl at the end of September and there's only ever been two contenders for a girl's name. We both like both names completely equally and can't pick between them.

So which do you prefer? I'm worried about it being trendy but India seems a bit cooler...and I'm about as edgy as a beach ball so she'll need all the help she can get in that arena.

Her last name will be double barrelled, so whilst I love Claudia it might be a bit telegraph birth announcement-y. Middle name will be Elizabeth.

Thanks in advance!

India is a but overdone and depends if it means something to you both? Otherwise can seem a bit gimmicky.

Can only hear 'claw' in claudia. Find the name really ugly and frumpy.
India is a gorgeous name

So why when florence or Sienna or Chester are mentioned as named etc is it not mentioned that it has to mean something? Why with the name India does the place need to be of significance?!

The name Claudia/Claudius long pre-exists the emperor with the limp. The association it's acquired from him wouldn't put me off the name.
