We are due with our little girl in 4 weeks and desperately want to choose a name. We want something that sounds “elegant and kind” and isn’t that popular. We already have a little boy called Rupert.

Names we are considering (but would welcome other similar suggestions are):
Ottilie
Ottoline
Tabitha (any good nicknames for Tabitha that aren’t tabby?)
Ophelia
Aurelia (any nickname suggestions?)
Violet

Nickname for Tabitha could be Bee/Bea/Bibi.

I wouldn't say Violet gave me 'elegant and kind' notions especially... (no hate! just saying)

I love Ottilie and Ophelia :)
Persephone is along the same lines I think, nickname Sephie

Seraphine/a mentioned above is lovely too

I think Vivienne is a beautiful name
