Do you think Justin is a good baby boy name?

Going to be honest, it makes me think of mr tumble
But he’s your baby and you choose whatever name you like best!

bluebabydinosaur · 09/05/2019 12:10

Depends how much TV your LO and friends will watch.

Pretty much every under 5 will know who Justin Fletcher is.
He practically owns Cbeebies.

GMtoBe · 09/05/2019 12:25

Sorry OP. I thought Justin Fletcher too! I think that's what all of his friends will think of at school as well. However, if you like the name go for it!

TixieLix · 09/05/2019 12:27

As long as your surname isn't Time or Case then it's fine Grin.

Tigerbandage · 09/05/2019 12:28

Makes me think
Justin case
Justin time
Sorry

MamaofAHH · 09/05/2019 12:30

I once heard a rude joke from a taxi driver about the name Justin. Aside from that, as others have said definitely Mr Tumble and Justin's House.

niceupthedanceagain · 09/05/2019 12:31

The rude joke

Stormwhale · 09/05/2019 12:32

Anyone with kids will immediately think of justin on cbeebies.

ThanksItHasPockets · 09/05/2019 13:30

Watch a bit of CBeebies. Justin Fletcher is everywhere and not just as Mr Tumble. Expect lots of jokes about going for play dates at Justin’s House.

bluebabydinosaur · 09/05/2019 14:13

This is great, thank you! I mean it! My husband was concerned about the Taxi driver joke which I do know about but thought he was just being silly. I think it might be a case of going back to the drawing board.

Does anyone actually like it out of interest?

AppleKatie · 09/05/2019 14:15

It’s a nice enough name for an adult.

I’d be a bit Hmm about it on a baby.

But that’s unkind of me, use it if you like it. It does scream fletcher though and that will he inescapable for the first 6-10 years of his life...

BunnyJumps · 09/05/2019 14:22

Just-in Grin

Iwantacookie · 09/05/2019 14:25

I love it my ds is Justin.
He used to get Justin bieber but it didn't bother him.

BabloHoney · 09/05/2019 14:29

I do like it but too associated with Bieber now for me!!

lovemeorleaveme · 09/05/2019 18:17

Not keen at all, sorry

PugPupsMum · 09/05/2019 18:18

Bieber

Calixtine · 09/05/2019 18:48

Really dislike it, sorry Justin parents! It’s very dated in my opinion.

LegoPiecesEverywhere · 09/05/2019 18:50

Not keen sorry

ReganSomerset · 09/05/2019 18:50

It makes me think of the scene at the start of despicable me, where that kid climbs scaffolding over the pyramid and his mum is shouting, 'Justin. Justin! JUSTIIIIIIIN!'

Perfectly reasonable name though.

MikeUniformMike · 09/05/2019 19:56

Middle name Credible.

Kiltartan · 09/05/2019 20:00

It feels dated to me. A Karen or Linda kind of name.

Jaz32 · 09/05/2019 20:02

I immediately thought Bieber or Timberlake not Mr Tumble even though I've watched my fair share of Mr Tumble over the years

pilates · 09/05/2019 20:02

Dated not in a good way

Offallycheap · 09/05/2019 20:03

Spotty bag.
