I love Alice (dd's name) and also Sophie

CruCru · 26/04/2019 13:50

I like Alice best.

CruCru · 26/04/2019 13:51

I don’t like Sophie as much but that may be because an ex boyfriend (from the dark ages) always said that if he had a daughter he wanted to call her Sophie. So the issue with Sophie is definitely mine rather than with the name.

BlueMerchant · 26/04/2019 13:52

Alice is beautiful.
I also really like Sophie
They are far better than the others.

Caroline

SirVixofVixHall · 26/04/2019 16:16

I like all of them. Smile . Penelope and Penny both lovely. Caroline tends to be kept as a full name which is nice , i have a cousin Caroline, and an Aunt.
All lovely names op.

Hayls17 · 26/04/2019 16:17

Sophie is my favourite! Penny as a nn for Penelope is cute! I like phoebe too.

Lavenderblues · 26/04/2019 16:18

I feel Penelope could be becoming quite fashionable soon and therefore sound dated afterwards.

Caroline is so nice and classic.

pallisers · 26/04/2019 16:21

Sophie Alice or Caroline are lovely (dd2 is one of these names)

Hitheresunrays · 26/04/2019 17:00

My favourite is Alice, a classic and beautiful name. Second favourite would be Sophie, I'm not keen on Penelope or Caroline.

Lavenderblues · 26/04/2019 17:02

Sophie was very trendy about 10 years ago. It sounds a little dated to me ears.

Shadow1234 · 26/04/2019 17:30

finallychangedmyusername · 26/04/2019 18:06

I love Sophie and Alice

Clownfish123 · 26/04/2019 18:10

Lovely names. Not so keen on Caroline (sounds a bit old fashioned) or Penelope.
Sophie would be my number 1 choice followed closely by Phoebe.

Likeagibbon · 26/04/2019 20:54

Penelope! My dd2 was very nearly called this but we decided against it at the last minute (just after giving birth!) As it seemed too long when her middle name (which we did not want to change as that was a family name) also had 4 syllables. But i love this name and the meaning of this name.
