Help. Twin girl names

Hi
We are expecting twin girls at the end of June and are still going back and forth on names. I really like Rose and Ivy but husband is worried about poison ivy jokes at school etc. We are also considering Amber and Zara. What is everyone’s thoughts on these names? Does any one have any other suggestions ? Our son is Cody but not concerned about names matching etc.

I don't lile Rose and Ivy together (bit too matchy both being floral).

Love Zara and Ivy. They go nicely together without matching.

I love Zara! Gorgeous name. No keen on the others but that’s just my personal opinion.

Yeah I think Ivy and Rose are too matchy. Ivy seems a bit faddy imo.

Very outing here but my girls are ivy and Rosa. My ivy is the only one at her school although I have heard of a few younger at other schools and there are quite a few girls called rose. I didn't go for the floral/plant theme just two names I loved... my girls aren't twins.

Rose and Ivy don't go together... I get the image of one twin being a beautiful fragrant flower and the other being a drab green climbing plant Confused I think one or the other is ok because the mind doesn't immediately go to the imagery but when you have both you automatically link them.

Also, Rose is quite common at the moment.

On the other hand, Amber and Zara are beautiful names that are not too popular and balance really well together. They also sound nice with Cody. Choose those!

I really like Amber and Zara. They are of a similar ‘ilk’ imo, and although matching isn’t you prerequisite, I think they sound ‘right’ for their brother’s name too.

They are all gorgeous names. It's up to you and such a personal thing what you name your child. Re poisoned Ivy, to be honest kids will make up anything in the playground I wouldn't worry about that (unless you are naming your child something genuinely weird a la gweneth which you're not!) xx

I really like those names. I know two Ivys and have never thought of poison ivy!
