Eeeeeek.

LadyPenelope68 · 27/03/2019 06:55

Dreadful

notsosunnyhols · 27/03/2019 06:55

Terrible

MikeUniformMike · 27/03/2019 08:12

OP hasn't come back.

Tiramisu1 · 27/03/2019 08:18

I'm convinced it's a wind up!

Heratnumber7 · 27/03/2019 08:18

What if she marries a prince? Princess Princess would just be embarrassing.
(I know marrying a prince doesn't actually make you a princess, but go with it!)

ErrolTheDragon · 27/03/2019 09:12

I wonder if the OP has used her real name, so her DD would be Princess King?

CatandtheFiddle · 27/03/2019 10:33

This is a wind up, right? Because no-one's really this stupid?

BarbieJellyBabyBrain · 27/03/2019 10:37

Doooo it, Doooo it, Doooo it!

PoshPenny · 27/03/2019 10:37

Naff

BarbieJellyBabyBrain · 27/03/2019 10:38

On a serious note, some cultures in Africa do use names like Prince, Princess, King, Precious. But I am kind of assuming that the OP would have given some context if she was from that sort of background.

I actually do like Zara.

GeriGremlin · 27/03/2019 10:45

There is an Australian singer called Prinnie (short for Princess). It suits her so I think this could be a nice nickname if you chose to use it Smile

Marcipex · 27/03/2019 10:54

It's quite normal in some cultures. My sister has taught Princess, Queen, God, Pretty, Beautiful and Darling.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 27/03/2019 11:00

If OP was from a background where a name like this is the norm surely it wouldn't even occur to ask the question?

OP didn't come back Confused

outpinked · 27/03/2019 11:04

Hideous

redwoodmazza · 27/03/2019 11:08

Definitely not.

AuntieCJ · 27/03/2019 11:13

God no.

manicinsomniac · 27/03/2019 21:12

If you're White British then no, I don't think you can.

If you're Black and Nigerian/Ghanain or similar then maybe. I don't particularly like it but it's a normal name that wouldn't provoke a reaction.

If you're Black British, idk. Probably not but maybe if it's occasionally used where you are?

Kylieemilyj · 27/03/2019 21:15

Horrible sorry. It sounds tacky and its one of those non existent name names:/ Having it as a nickname isnt so bad though, calling her your princess or whatever but please give the kid a proper name!

daisypond · 27/03/2019 21:15

Queenie is a valid name if you want an alternative. I know a teenage one.

Frodon · 27/03/2019 22:08

Prinnie - even more foul than princess.

As for Precious, there are no words.

SevenSeasofRye · 27/03/2019 22:09

Completely tasteless.

anniehm · 27/03/2019 22:10

It's a title not a name.

anniehm · 27/03/2019 22:12

Queenie is a nickname for someone called Victoria traditionally. Precious is a common name in Southern Africa.

SilverySurfer · 28/03/2019 15:10

Maybe it's time for registrars to have the power to veto bonkers names like they have in some other countries?
