Please, for you daughter's sake, don't do it.

PastaPins · 26/03/2019 21:37

Oh dear Hmm

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 26/03/2019 21:40

Is this a wind up? Because I just can't believe anyone would consider the name.

And if it's not I'm actually really angry anyone would consider it and not have thought through how the name could affect this child's future.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 26/03/2019 21:53

rtmhwales hope it’s not usage of apostrophes that you were teaching them...

chickenalapesh · 26/03/2019 21:56

What about tinker bell?

Barrenfieldoffucks · 26/03/2019 22:11

There's a girl at school called Dolly.

Tiramisu1 · 26/03/2019 22:22

Dolly can be friends with Teddy 🧸

But Princess?!

Nnnnnineteen · 26/03/2019 23:01

Having taught a Princess, a Prince and a King, do you have any idea how demeaning it is for an adult to call a child a name that implies some sort of hierarchy? Or anyone for that matter- how special do you think you are?!

RoseMartha · 26/03/2019 23:07

No

ScrambledSmegs · 26/03/2019 23:10
Grin

My grandmother had a friend called Queenie. Well, I say friend, I think they cordially hates each other actually. But in a good way.

ScrambledSmegs · 26/03/2019 23:10

*hated.

Frodon · 26/03/2019 23:35

A truly hideous name. If you can even call it a name?

I don't even like it for a dog or cat.

AfterSchoolWorry · 26/03/2019 23:37

Horrendous.

newroundhere · 27/03/2019 00:27

Better for a girl than a boy....

BackforGood · 27/03/2019 00:44

Not often everyone agrees on the baby name threads Grin

YemenRoadYemen · 27/03/2019 00:47

You're not from round these parts, are you OP?

Lovingbenidorm · 27/03/2019 00:50

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Princess!!!!!
Hahahahaha🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you’re going to post something with the aim of winding people up
Please put a bit more effort in
I’ve got about 40 mins before I go up the wooden hill
And this is just disappointing

HerRoyalNotness · 27/03/2019 00:54

If you’re serious, Amira is Arabic for princess. I’d use that.

SurgeHopper · 27/03/2019 00:58

I knew a Princess when I worked in a high school

Kid plannedto change her name as soon as she would be able to

RonaldMcDonald · 27/03/2019 01:00

Silently judging you and unfortunately your daughter forever

Bumblebeesmum · 27/03/2019 01:03

Horrific

ImposterSyndrome101 · 27/03/2019 01:33

I know a girl at uni called Precious and one called Sunshine

I think it's ridiculous

Lovingbenidorm · 27/03/2019 01:37

‘Precious ‘ 😳
Is her mum called Golem?

Gingerkittykat · 27/03/2019 02:09

Imagine being 17 and lumbered with that name, nobody would take her seriously. There's not even any good nicknames.

I immediately think Princess would be bratty, demanding, spoiled and high maintenance.
