As pp said Matilda Jean has the best rhythm, but I prefer Madeline on its own. So that would be my choice, because normally you don't go around using them together. Definitely not Connie/Constance. I think whilst Jean is nice, mixed with Matilda or Connie/Constance is too old fashioned overall if that makes sense? So I'd go for Madeline ☺️

I love Matilda & Connie but not sure I’d want a nickname as a fullname myself (though I realise it’s very normal to do now).

So as is I think I’d vote Matilda....

But given Jean is the middle name I think Cora Jean nn Connie would be lovely

I agree that Connie Jean sounds like a country singer - I’m not sure why it doesn’t have that affect on your other two names

Miranda is another lovely one that’s a lot less popular

I prefer Madeline as a name, but with Jean as the middle name Matilda flows better.

Connie - meh.

Just make sure you like Maddy and Tilly as they will inevitably get shortened by friends etc

My nans dog was called Connie! My choice is Matilda.

I love Constance and Madeleine but Matilda makes me grimace for some peculiar reason. It would be so cool to be a serious professional woman called Constance.

Ok guys thanks so much for your input, you’ve really helped! Thoughts so far -
Constance - we think is very cool if she is a proffesional when older & Connie is very cute whilst younger BUT our thinking is this name own works with a very specific type of person (who she might not be!)
Matilda - Part of me loves it, how ever heard it at soft play the other day & like other posters have said it did sound a bit ‘meh’ plus DP really doesn’t like the full name but doesn’t mind Tilly, not a good enough reason to name her it I think.
Madeline - it’s our front runner, as much as I know Maddie is popular which isn’t ideal I just can’t help but love Madeline, it’s classy & sweet at the same time to me. McCann connection isn’t an issue for us.

So, in short... with 9 weeks left. Madeline is looking like the front runner!
