Which way would you go and why?

Conrad is such a weird name for a baby unless he comes out with Brylcreemed hair and holding a pint of mild

CleanAndPaidFor · 08/03/2019 17:42

Lol Beetlewing. Hugo would be born sporting a deerstalker, a pronounced overbite and a glass of sherry in hand.

stellarfox · 08/03/2019 18:07

I really like Conrad. Hugo is nice too but does give me middle class vibes

mrsdavys · 08/03/2019 18:20

Hugo!
Can’t imagine anyone over the age of 30 named Conrad

lablablab · 08/03/2019 18:44

Hugo. Definitely.

Conrad conjures up an image of an 80s style slimy man in a white suit sauntering around with a huge mobile phone!

Strokethefurrywall · 08/03/2019 18:46

Conrad. Where I am it's a fucking cool name.

Azure83 · 08/03/2019 18:50

Conrad. Our boy's middle name but it was a close call!

MikeUniformMike · 08/03/2019 18:52

I thought it was going to be about Les Mis and Heart of Darkness!

Bumblebeesmum · 08/03/2019 19:05

Conrad

MollyHuaCha · 08/03/2019 19:32

Hugo

bonniebanks · 08/03/2019 19:52

I would go Conrad but my main reason is that I know of 4 baby boys born in the last 6 months called Hugo so Conrad would be a nice change.

HighestMountains · 08/03/2019 20:07

I lile them both but Conrad is more unusual.

123Flopsy · 08/03/2019 20:15

Conrad!

Enko · 08/03/2019 21:08

TheCheeseAlarm · 08/03/2019 21:10

Sophronia · 08/03/2019 23:41

Conrad

Hugo

Conrad I can't ever imagine at the baby/toddler stage :)

HeronLanyon · 09/03/2019 07:01

Conrad. Great name.
But it’s a name to grow into I think. Great name for adult. I don’t think babies/children need cutesy names at all but Conrad feels a bit full-on for young child??

HeronLanyon · 09/03/2019 07:04

Love Hugh - less fond of Hugo but not sure why. In fact really like Hugh.

outforawalkbitch2018 · 09/03/2019 07:05

Conrad all day long. It's a great name

beela · 09/03/2019 07:10

Conrad.

I know one of each. Conrad is verrrrry good looking, Hugo is quite annoying. So I'm just being quite shallow really Grin

123Flopsy · 09/03/2019 08:06

Conrad. Great name for adult.

You know a person is an adult for about 90% of his or her life! And only a baby for a year!

reefedsail · 09/03/2019 08:11

Conrad

Rad is a cool nn!

Let's face it most babies have a nn barely related to their name anyway- you'll end up calling him the conster-monster or something (well, I would).

HeronLanyon · 09/03/2019 08:14

flopsy laughing here - at the risk of being pedantic - actually being pedantic - that would make average age at death to be around 180-210 years old !!!
I think Conrad kicks in as a fantastic full on name at around 20+ ?? Younger than that it’s still fantastic obvs. I love it.

sweetsaltypopcorn · 09/03/2019 08:19

Conrad! Love it.
