Hello!
I am expecting my first baby :) We are very excited that it's a girl but stuck on names... Nothing really stands out to me! I have put together the following list. What do people think of these names? Thanks :)

Amelie
Aurelia
Celine
Emmeline
Emma
Elora
Eleanora

Love Harriet and Hattie For short. Was on my list but a colleague just had a Hattie. We liked Hettie too.

I think Eleanora and Harriet are lovely. I don't mind Amelie, Emma and Elora. Not so keen on the others.

And, some more ideas:
Celeste
Estelle
Estella
Eleanor
Leonor

DoveGreylove · 12/01/2019 09:01

Thank you for all of your suggestions :) they are all beautiful but I just don't love anything. Nothing even really stands out for me on my own list!

My favourites if I had to choose are Emmeline, Aurelia and Amelie but I don't think DH likes them.

I did like Evelyn or Evelina but I feel Eva, Ava and Evie are just everywhere and I don't want to jump on that bandwagon.

Unfortunately as I'm pretty much the last out of all my friends to have a baby so many names are already taken and I don't want to re-use.

It's so hard! If anyone has any other suggestions that are similar to my name's i'd love to hear! Thanks xx

I love Emma. That's we're going to call our daughter x

daisypond · 12/01/2019 17:05

Amelie - twee, dated and bland.
Aurelia - a bit Disney-ish
Celine - nice. My favourite.
Emmeline - a bit flouncy, but nice
Emma - a bit bland for my taste but nice
Elora - unusual, but seems a bit bland.
Eleanora - a bit flouncy but nice
Harriet - doesn't seem to fit your other names. It's fine but too worthy and dull for my taste.

Cecilia? Sabrina? Selena? Annabel? Arabella?

itbemay · 12/01/2019 17:30

Amelie - lovely bit seems quite common now

Aurelia - beautiful

Celine - not a fan

Emmeline - love this

Emma - boring

Elora - not a fan

Eleanora - not a fan

Harriet - not sure

Evangeline ?
