Thoughts and feedback on girl list :)

We are due with a girl next month and are having a hard time deciding on a name. Here is our list so far but open to suggestions as well. Brother is Lincoln.

Hazel is the only one I like from your list.

I like them all except Saige and Cassia.

Fiona- Middle aged ladies name
Camilla - Reminds me of P-B
Serena- Love it, Seren was on list but I hear it’s very popular now
Hazel - Horrid
Cassia- Like it
Saige- Like
Felicity- Twee

Fiona - love this
Camilla - as in wife of Prince Charles...nah.
Serena - love this
Hazel - ok. Not as nice as others
Cassia - nice
Saige - nope, nope, nopity nope
Felicity - pretty

I'd use Fiona or Serena. Really any of them other than Saige or Camilla are lovely.

Fiona - to me, a woman in her 50s, not a child born in 2019. If it’s the ‘oh’ sound you like, what about Naomi?

Camilla - like, but with Camilla Parker-Bowles likely to become Queen & thus more prominent in the not too near distant future, I wouldn’t use it.

Serena - this may not be rational but Serena is a name that I would find strange on a white child (not that I’m presuming your child’s ethnicity). My dc went to a school with a lot of Indian pupils, and knew several girls of Indian descent called Serena. And there’s of course also Serena Williams, an African-American. I also don’t hugely like the name - it seems to be lacking in substance. I do quite like Sabrina though...

Hazel - sweet but can’t imagine it on an adult.

Cassia - ok. Do you like Saskia?

Saige - looks misspelt, very hippy/alternative. Wouldn’t use.

Felicity - alright. Don’t especially like it but there’s nothing wrong with it.

*When I say I would find Serena a strange name for a white child, I mean that it would seem as odd as a white British girl called Anjali or Zainab.

I like Hazel. Is Cassia a type of cinnamon? That's what it makes me think of. Saige seems odd with a "i", like someone got confused between Sage ad Paige.

The Lincoln I know has a sister called Elsie.

From your list I like Hazel and Felicity. I don’t like Saige. The others are ok. I don’t think they ‘go’ with Lincoln but I know others aren’t necessarily bothered about that.

I really like the name Lincoln, and have only ever met one. (He's 14 months old).

Your girls list is not really my taste, but if I had to choose, I would go for Serena (or Seren as other poster suggested - or even Sienna)

Lincoln and Camilla sounds lovely.

Hazel sounds old fashioned not in a good way.

Serena - ok as long as she actually turns out to be serene. Bit much to live up to!

Saige - shouldn't this be Sage? And what if she isn't?
Felicity - ok but a bit jolly hockey sticks for me.

Camilla and Serena are great.
Felicity is very nice as well, as is Fiona. I know a 20-year-old Fiona, so not always a middle-aged name.
Hazel I find a bit dull. Cassia is OK.
Saige looks weird. Is it meant to be Sage?

I love Cassia, I also like Sage (really disliked Saige - maybeyou got confused due to the Paige spelling). I believe they go nicely with Lincoln.

Camilla, I really do not like it due to Camilla P-B, not a fan of Serena or Hazel either.

Felicity is nice.
