What do you think?

Popular name circa 2010. We quite like it now, it goes well with our surname and thinking of using it if we have a boy. Just wanted to ask your thoughts about whether it is a classic name or dated.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Nice name, not opposed. However my mind immediately started singing naaa...na na NANANANAANAAAAAA BlushBlushBlush

The Obscure for me - as mother London says it's such a horrible, tragic, hauntingly awful story that I could never name a child Jude. It's definitely a boy's name though imo. Girl version being Judy or Judith obviously.

I’ve always really liked this name and thought of it is quite ‘cool’ but after reading that Star of David thing, that would also make me reconsider

It is DB name, who is in 40s. So they are about.

I must add that Jude is the patron saint of lost causes and hopeless cases. It was my sisterly duty, as a child, to remind him of that frequently 😊

I'm a Jude (f) I've never had Nazi comments despite costing Nazis and the term Jude at school
Hey Jude however never goes away. Might be different for a bit but I have it sang to me a lot.

My dh is Polish and whenever we visit Poland you can’t turn a corner without seeing graffiti everywhere, ‘Anty Jude’ etc so for me personally the negative connotations are still relevant, so I wouldn’t use it.

Love it and agree with RCohle ! The Holocaust comment was disrespectful and shouldn't have been made.
