Thoughts? My dh has mentioned it a few times now and it's really growing on me.

I like known/familiar names which aren't super popular, I also like Tabby as a nickname.

The cat association doesn't bother me.

I love it, it’s number one on our short list. It’s a timeless name - not too trendy, but also not too old-fashioned.

Lovely...for a girl/woman! My friend is known as Tabs. She's great and so is her name.

Love it. The character from Jilly Cooper (Tabitha Campbell Black) is a right wilful child and I loved the name from that alone.

I had a kat called Tabitha as a kid but it was still on my girls name list. I love the magical nature of it it think with a name like that you'd be a free spirit.

Thanks so much for your feedback. As I said in my original post, the cat thing doesn't bother me. I think we're onto a winner 😊😊😊

Family member 10 states she likes her name and it has a lot of nicknames. She would recommend it.

Love it but vetoed by DH. In my mind Jemima and Claudia are similar, and I love those too.

I love it. I have a Felix and it's only on Mumsnet you get sarky comments about cats.

In real life I've had a few 'oh' comments but generally very positive. I think it's a lovely name. Go for it.
