Just looking for opinions on the name Jenson?
Older brother called Noah.
Narrowed the choice down to Jenson or Rupert now.
Girls name is set at Matilda Rose! Found girls names so much easier.

I like Jacob Joseph. It also goes well with Noah.

DH is Joseph James which is annoying if we ever have a boy as I like both names but not into naming children after their parents.

For the record he was Joseph right through until teenage years, and is mostly Joe now (never Joey!!) although I still call him Joseph sometimes and so does his Nana.

Not keen on Jenson. Prefer Rupert.

DwangelaForever · 26/11/2018 16:28

I would spell it Jensen like the actor rather than Jenson like the driver. I like it.

DwangelaForever · 26/11/2018 16:33

@Shadow1234 yes to Jensen Ackles 🤤 prefer the spelling his way!

Thank you so much for all your help after all my crazy posts and somewhat ridiculous name suggestions at times.
I have found myself back at a name I loved when had my son. The answer was staring me in the face the whole time, so thank you for helping me to see that!
My son Noah Harry will be delighted to welcome either a sister Matilda Rose or a brother Jacob Joseph.
Thank you again everyone! SmileGrin

I like Jenson/Jensen! Go for it if you like it.
Jacob Joseph is nice, he might end up JJ though if that bothers you?

AnElderlyLadyOfMediumHeight · 26/11/2018 20:36

Jacob Joseph is lovely :)

Pemba · 26/11/2018 22:00

Good choice! Jacob is a lovely name and so much nicer than either Jenson or Rupert.

Picknickers · 26/11/2018 22:42

OP what random bods on the internet dictate as suitable for you to name your child is irrelevant! Call him whatever you like best.

nomester · 30/11/2018 23:17

I love Jenson!
But I am a massive Jenson Button fan 😂😂😂
I would have called my DS that but his dad said I can't name him after a racing driver 🙄🙄🙄
Shorted it's Jense which is cute 😊
It's also the name of a car company, well spelt Jensen.
Definitely prefer it to Lewis 🙈🙈🙈

Boobahs · 30/11/2018 23:27

My friend has a 4 year old Noah and a 2 year old Jenson!

MeganJ93 · 02/12/2018 15:54

Jenson is a nice boys name but I prefer Rupert.

Sungura · 02/12/2018 16:20

Won't Jacob be shortened to Jake? If you don't want a name that's easily shortened, you may want to rethink think this. It's not that it's not a pretty name, it just doesn't seem to fit your initial desire for a name.

mummyofboys30 · 03/12/2018 18:40

Sungura Actually of all the Jacob's I know none of them are shortened to Jake they are all known as Jacob. Jake is a name in its own right rather than a shortening.

Between Jenson and Rupert, definitely Rupert.

ivartheboneless · 03/12/2018 21:04

I love the name Jenson, not so keen on Rupert.
You will get so many different opinions on here OP, some will love the name and some will hate it.

Who cares, it will be your baby and your choice. And as long as you love the name that's all that matters.

I had so many people tell me the way I spelt my daughters name was stupid but I loved it and now it's become bey popular no thanks to a certain Disney princess

Icklepup · 04/12/2018 16:18

Jacob Joseph is sweet.
I would have said Rupert otherwise.

MummyBearRose · 04/12/2018 19:58

I love Jenson !
