Hi i am looking for a welsh influenced name for a boy. Both DH and i are Welsh but live in England. Our first little boy was called Evan (sadly stillborn).

So ideally want something easily pronounced and spelt. Websites and books arent throwing up much inspiration.

DH doesnt like Dylan or Rhys (booo). I like Elis but he isnt convinced. Anything else i can throw in the mix?

Native welsh speaker. Euros is a really nice name but obviously the currency would put most people off using it.
My attempt at writing Ieuan in a way that English speakers could understand but not quite accurate would be YE(like in yes)-yan not YAyan.
You have my sympathy if you are learning Welsh as an adult Mr Slant - it's hard. The vowel combinations don't really have english equivalents.
