Struggling with boys name!

Looking for a name for Noah's brother.

Put a post on here recently about Rory and Rupert. Rory came out top but the more I say it the more is sounds lispy and awkward.

Alot of people are very anti Rupert..... They think he would get teased and that its a weak name so puts me off.

Found another name today..... Caleb.
What do you think? Does it sound too biblical? Or does it go nicely with Noah?

Please help! I'm going round in circles!

I think Rupert is awful. Really like Rory - and Rufus.

I like Caleb (though it is def a naughty name from the only ones I've known in real life - that is quite probably only a localised coincidence though!) I think it has a biblical connection without being too churchy.

chipsnmayo · 01/11/2018 21:11

I think Caleb goes nicely with Noah.

I like Caleb, it's not too popular (well not in my circles anyway) but well known.

InfiniteVariety · 01/11/2018 21:14

Ezra would go well with Noah. I don't like Rupert.

Sophronia · 01/11/2018 21:19

Caleb goes better with Noah than Rupert does

TatianaLarina · 01/11/2018 21:26

I like Rory.

For biblical I prefer Gabriel and Zach and Jasper.

Caleb sounds heavily farmhand.

Azure83 · 01/11/2018 21:29

A bit niche but Rupert makes me think of Stewie's teddy from Family Guy.

Another2day · 01/11/2018 21:43

Rory is really hard to say for people who have difficulty with their R, worse than Rupert!

Caleb is nice

Didyeeaye · 01/11/2018 22:24

I like Caleb and think it goes well with Noah. However, I must admit it would assume their parents were Christians. That's not a bad thing though

Polkasq · 01/11/2018 22:29

Rufus is great.

I wanted a Boy named caleb since i was a teenager (im now 40) but then it stated being the bad guy name in programmes i watched, like buffy and andrican gothic.

firsttimemumma89 · 01/11/2018 23:27

JungDisciple I do like Reuben however I really struggle with the spelling and muddle up the E and U so feel it would be embarrasing to spell my own child's name wrong!

Noah and Cole fits well together

moredoll · 02/11/2018 01:32

Caleb is great. Goes well with Noah.
You'd get used to the spelling of Reuben in a couple of weeks.

Sungura · 02/11/2018 03:29

Caleb is nice. In the Bible Ruben is spelled minus the E.

Zoflorabore · 02/11/2018 04:10

Caleb was top of my boy list when I had dd in 2011. It's a fabulous name and I would choose it again if I wasn't finished having babies :)

I have a 15yr old Oliver and I found boys names harder. My second choice name in 2003 was Dylan.
I also love Oscar, Joshua and Sebastian.
