Is Luna becoming too popular?

One. And a couple of cats. I really dislike it. Sounds like loony.

I know of none, but I also worry about the 'loony luna' associations it might bring.

Luna was that not the name of a M&P buggy a few years ago?
Too close to loony to me too.

Other than famous people's children I only know dogs and cats called Luna (3 dogs and 1 cat).

Personally don't like it for a person . Might be cute as a toddler but can't picture a 40 year old Luna ?

It's my dog's name LOL! We call her Luna-tic or Looney Tunes too, so be prepared for those nick names in due course

I like it, I prefer names you can't shorten. Although any name can be altered to a nickname.

Loo? I find short names tend to get lengthened!

One two year old. Parents have very ordinary names and wanted her to 'shine' .

When she has a tantrum her uncle refers to her as Luna the loon. Lovely girl, not so great name.
