Any views on the following?

Harlinne, Helice, Hester, Hensley

I want unusual names.

I like Harlow and Hope as H names.

DreamsofJacaranda · 09/10/2018 16:47

Helice means propeller in French, and besides, it would constantly be mistaken for Alice or Ellis Confused

shakeyourcaboose · 09/10/2018 16:51

Harlinne is awful, and autocorrects to Hairline ...

Hensley sounds masculine

Hester is at least a recognisable name.

Heather and Hazel are both pretty and uncommon. Or do you want something unique?

Mummaluelae · 09/10/2018 16:56

I love the name henrietta and harlinne, seen it spelt harleen (if its pronounced the same)

Why H? And why so obscure?

BertieBotts · 09/10/2018 17:37

Hester is my favourite of what you've posted. I also like Harriet, and Hanne.

Harper?

Cosmoa · 09/10/2018 17:39

Heloïse ❤️

Cosmoa · 09/10/2018 17:40

Héloïse* (forgot the accent on the first e!)

SandysMam · 09/10/2018 17:41

I love Helena and Hannah. I also quite like Hayden for a girl (after the chick from Nashville) but Mumsnet would have a lot to say about that!

Coffeethrowtrampbitch · 09/10/2018 17:44

I've an acquaintance called Helenor and I've always thought that was lovely. She is the only person I know with that name.

CaptSkippy · 09/10/2018 17:48

Hanneke, Helena, Halske, Hannelore, Hanriette, Harma, Hansje, Hermelien, Harmina, Helga, Hedwieg, Hendrika, Hilda, Heleen, Hinde, Hortensia, Hylke

These are mostly common in the Netherlands.

BiscuitsAndGravy · 09/10/2018 17:49

Hestia, she was an Ancient Greek goddess.

auldcraw · 09/10/2018 17:51

What about

Hera - goddess of women and childbirth

Hope - because we certainly need that

Hermione - as in harry potter cos she might end up as a clever little witch

GoJohnnyGoGoGoGo · 09/10/2018 17:52

Haf or Hetty get my vote

ImogenTubbs · 09/10/2018 17:55

I like Hilde. German I think - probably short for Hildegard.

caringcarer · 09/10/2018 18:03

Hattie, Helena and Hope are my best girls H names.

bridgetreilly · 09/10/2018 18:20

Hester is the only one I really like from your list.

What about:
Hebe
Hermione
Henrietta
Hope

MyBootsAreMuddy · 09/10/2018 18:21

I like Hannah, Hester and Helena from your lists. Also Hettie, Hera, Hermione and Hazel.

Hebe is another H name I like
