Dd has just said Hadley, apparently one of the 12 dancing princesses.

Hanako is Japanese. Unless you are of Japanese heritage, it's rather odd to choose it. Also, if it's shortened to Hana it will be misheard as Hannah. Which is also a lovely name, but not the same.

I love Hannah! Totally underated name and actually really unusual nowadays without being weird. I've taught countless different primary schools as a supply teacher and have never once taught a Hannah.
