What's your initial thoughts on the name Mitzi? Is it too cutesy/girly?

When I was a kid my neighbour had a french poodle called Mitzi

Wasn't there a Mitzy in the Moondreamers years ago? (My little pony and friends tv show). Quite a whimsical name.

When I was young we had a cat originally called Mittens the Kitten but later just Mitzi, definitely sounds too nicknamey for a child.

As a nn it's OK. As a full name definitely no.

Personally it's a dog's name

I knew a little girl called Shay-Misty though. Which sounds similar.

Isn’t Mitzi the name of the cat that does all the tricks in Meet the Fockers/Meet the Parents?

Great on a poodle, gross on a person. Silly, twee, frilly infantilising names drive me mad.

It's the name of a miniature poodle.
