Judge my shortlist

7 weeks to go and I can't get DH to discuss names so I'm asking MN for opinions. He was the same with our first and whilst we ended up with a name I love I want to be a bit more prepared. Open to other ideas

Ah, that's a positive start. I like Felix, Jasper and Iris so will add them to my list to present to DH.

I also like Ruby, Clara, Evelyn and Elspeth (but really dislike Elsie, Eva/Evie, which weaken the names a lot, in my opinion)
I'm not keen on Martha, but it's OK.

I prefer the boys names. Clara goes with them. Not sure about the others.

There are a zillion Evies and Elsies so I'd avoid them. Arthur and Oscar too. They're ten a penny.

Just to say all your names were on my list for dc2 and dd1 has one of those names so you have excellent taste but Oscar and Martha are my faves

Very safe, very English, very typical MN. The only one I really like is Thea.

I'm not keen on Oscar at all, but like the other boy's names. I'd pick Rupert as my favourite as the other two are already quite popular.

I like Clara and Ruby from your girl's list.

Evie, Eve etc, are already extremely popular.
