I'm due in May with baby #2. Our son has a Welsh name, so we'd like to use another one. Won't be finding out the sex, so need a list of bous and girls. Only problem is, my absolute favourite Welsh name we've already used and it was the only one we liked!

Got plenty of time but need to start compiling a list.

Can't use for various reasons:
Dylan
Lloyd
Rhodri
Carwyn
Igor
Ivan
Rhys
Llewellyn

Please hit me with some Welsh names for a boy!

My 4 month old is Elis and I love it.

I also loved anuerin but we live in England for the foreseeable future (😭😭) and I didn’t want a name people didn’t know how to pronounce.

Another vote for Iestyn and Osian. I also love Aeddan, Endaf and Owain.

Ready people will be familiar with Anuerin Bevan so should know how to pronounce the name.

readysetcake · 22/09/2018 10:42

I think people would be more familiar with hearing it not seeing it written down. And the younger English generation not so much. I wonder how many teenagers have heard of Anuerin Bevan?

Another vote for Caradoc
Gavin or Gavan
Howell
Gwillym
Bran
Carwyn
Madoc
