I'm due in May with baby #2. Our son has a Welsh name, so we'd like to use another one. Won't be finding out the sex, so need a list of bous and girls. Only problem is, my absolute favourite Welsh name we've already used and it was the only one we liked!

Got plenty of time but need to start compiling a list.

Can't use for various reasons:
Dylan
Lloyd
Rhodri
Carwyn
Igor
Ivan
Rhys
Llewellyn

Please hit me with some Welsh names for a boy!

Glyn, my sons name. Easy to pronounce by us English.

Gwilym only has one l.
Guto (Gitto) and Iolo (Yollo) - the os are like the o in of.
Gavin isn't Welsh, it's Gawain.
Llywelyn not Llewellyn.
Griff is good.
Iori
Iago (Yaggo - o as in of again)
Rhys but I don't like the Reece pronunciation.
Geraint get Grr-aint, Jur-aint or Gurr-INT (as in pint) in England so a no from me.
Evan is an anglicised spelling but nice. David is good, or Dafydd.
Huw, Idris, Hywel, Steffan, Pedr, Tristan, Siôr...
Glyn and Bryn are easy, as is Owen.

How do you pronounce it then? I'm not Welsh, but live in Wales and all the Rhys's I've met have pronounced it Reece!

I guess these things change over time... Dylan is always pronounced wrongly these days, apparently!
