Is Aslan too commonly associated with Narnia? My DH loves it but I feel like I'll always think about the lion 😂

Pronounced like arselun or asslun?

Idk....

I used to work with someone whose surname for Aslan. Lovely woman but her name was butchered on a regular basis...

All together, Irish people:

THESE ARE THE HANDS OF A TIRED MAN...

Narnia.

InterstellarSleepingElla · 14/09/2018 14:28

I thought Lion / Narnia straight away!

Peridot1 · 14/09/2018 14:38

I would think Narnia too. And the band. Have a family connection to Christy.

Rockyroadmallow · 14/09/2018 18:12

Makes me think of Narnia but I love it!

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 15/09/2018 23:13

really, don't, unless you are Turkish

And even if you ARE Turkish, if you live in the UK and intend to stay here, you might want to think very carefully about calling your child any name beginning with ARS....

Kids will find anything to make fun of their friends/enemies about - there's no need to all but do the job for them.

I know an Aslam. But yeah. Aslan = Narnia. Not a bad thing in itself. But be prepared for the "What' like the lion?" comments forever more
