Ok, is this my hormones talking?

It occurs to me that Conifer sounds quite pretty for a girl. Nn Connie. Am I mad? I mean, Rowan is a name and that's a tree. And Jennifer sounds similar.

No Conifer is awful. Connie is nice as is Rowan and Jennifer.

Yes it’s your hormones. Conifers aren’t even very interesting or beautiful trees.

Just call her Connie if you like it.

I was in a plant bio lecture and the lecturer insisted on pronouncing it cone-ifer. Still can't take it seriously.

But no, it's a terrible name either way.

I like it! Connie and Jennifer are names so I don't think Conifer is so that weird. People are just being rude cause it's not the norm.

Why not? If you like it and don't mind it being really really unusual, then why not? Plenty of other trees/flowers are names

I don't like the sound of it. I hate anything with an F sound. Don't know why.
I do get your argument about Rowan being a tree name, though

Stinkweed is a flower Aww it doesn’t make it equal in suitability to Lily or Violet.
