Why are baby boy names so much harder?!?

I really like uncommon (not unusual!) names

Can anyone offer any ideas I feel like I'm really struggling 😩

So far I like Wilf and Evan 💙💙

Uncommon but not unusual?

Anyway, I’ll throw Eben and Alban into the mix.

Round here I know several wilfs. It's not that uncommon. Just an FYI, though that shouldn't necessarily stop you from using it if you like it!

Seems the only way to go "uncommon but not unusual" at the moment is to go for 1950s/1960s names.

Gary
Nigel
Colin
Ian
Dennis
Terry
etc

Unfortunately, they're all awful.

minnierose3 · 26/08/2018 22:11

@srsly I'm not sure id actually go for Wilf, I do like it but seems too nicknamey for me but don't think I like Wilfred 🙈

@leicsterpiggott oh I adore Jonah, but it's just way to close to others in our family it would sound ridiculous x

@AmyRhodes I was also thinking going back in time, but to 70s.. Some are bearable (in my opinion, others may differ). I'm thinking Andrew, Christopher, David, Stephen, Mark.
