Cerys, Harriet, Beatrice or Verity

Hello, we're quite undecided with names of our little one who's due any day and would love your opinion.
I think we're edging towards Cerys but I'm not keen on it being shortened to Kerry and know I'll have no control over this! Where as the others on our short list I prefer the shortened versions of.
We're thinking of using our paternal grandmother's names as middle names so that's Ivy and Thelma if that helps at all. Thanks!

Well one of those is DDs name which was my great-grandmothers name so I'm obviously biased

I like them all but Cerys is probably my least favourite.

You have great taste I love ALL those names. My favourite is Harriet - I think it’s timeless and the obvious nicknames are nice too - love Hattie. I also love Cerys but agree with you that Kerry is a likely nickname and I’m not a fan. Do you like Charis / Carys? As I think Carrie is much nicer than Kerry for some reason.

Definitely Harriet or Beatrice. Verity is ok. Just my opinion but I really dislike Cerys.

My dd is Cerys so I'm biased. It's never been shortened to anything and she's 6 now.

Beatrice. I have a Hattie but it's a name I regret. Beatrice lends itself to Bea/Beattie...

Cerys doesn't get shortened to Kerry.

Trust me.
Harriet will become Harry.

Beatrice will become bee.

Verity became variety at my school.

I like them all except Harriet, which I wouldn't consider at all.
