To go with Freddie Smile can't decide. Any other 'D' name suggestions too please.

Thank you for all the lovely suggestions.

Looks like it's pretty equal between Darcy and Daisy! I know an adult daisy too so I didn't really see it as a childish name. I think it's really pretty. As Pp said, by the time this generations children are middle aged, all names that are too "cutesi" for an adult now, will be quite normal. I got told Freddie was childish too but I still went for it anyway.

I do really love Dulcie, Delilah and Delphi out of all the suggestions. OH doesn't like Dulcie or Delphi, but says he could probably warm to Delilah. Grin will have to just see what she looks like!

I love Delilah, my husband's colleague has a daughter called Delilah.

Daisy.

Darcy has my vote.

Treaclepie19 · 22/08/2018 12:15

Daisy :)

You might also like Dahlia (if you like Delilah).

Daisy is a lovely name. Suits a grown up just as well as Rose or Violet imo... :)

Daisy

Definitely not Dolly or Delphi

Late on replying to this but my name is Darcey and I know I am biased but I love my name and I have always had compliments on it. My mothers cousin even named her daughter the same as she really liked the name and asked my mother if she’d mind.

Darcy rhymes with arsey, don’t go there

wizzler · 10/09/2018 01:58

Prefer Darcy.
How about Dinah?

Sungura · 10/09/2018 06:33

You are asking what goes with Freddie. Darcy does. Delilah, though pretty, does not, even if you call her Lila. They just don't, to my ears, mesh at all. Dahlia is nice, but it gets us back to Dolly. Dorothy, Delia, and Darby go fine, too.

MaverickSnoopy · 10/09/2018 06:38

Darcy....but then I would say that because it is a strong contender on our list.

DumbleDork · 11/09/2018 20:27

I love Darcey, but then I’m very biased as I have one Smile
