What's your favourite for a boy please? Middle name would be James.

Arthur

userabcname · 16/08/2018 07:57

I think I like Henry the best but there are so many of them! So I would probably choose Arthur.

HJL2506 · 16/08/2018 08:00

I like Arthur best. Arthur is one of my eldest son middle names and James will be one of my seconds middle names (due in oct).

Icklepup · 16/08/2018 08:04

Henry James

Bobbybobbins · 16/08/2018 08:04

Henry but I like all of them!

Peachbubble · 16/08/2018 08:20

Henry James

Sophronia · 16/08/2018 09:29

Henry James

pipilangstrumpf · 16/08/2018 09:31

All very popular especially with middle name James.

Hopefully your surname is a little more unusual!

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 16/08/2018 09:32

Henry then Arthur.

AdaColeman · 16/08/2018 09:34

Arthur.

lovelsa · 16/08/2018 10:32

We have a Henry and love it! Although people are saying it's popular, I haven't met another Henry yet! Many more people using Harry, than Henry...at least in our experience so far!

That being said, we are considering Arthur for our #2 who is due any day now. So I'm partial to those two names on your list!

Our surname is Brown, so sadly it's tainted the name Charlie for me!

faeriequeen · 16/08/2018 10:33

Charlie would have to be Charles with nn Charlie.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 16/08/2018 12:35

Arthur James.

pipilangstrumpf · 16/08/2018 12:54

Isn't James Arthur a singer?

aliceinchunderland1 · 16/08/2018 17:32

Will people make the James Arthur connection? I didn't even think of that!

OP posts:
lovelsa · 16/08/2018 17:44

Henry James is an author, just FYI. X

But not sure how often people actually use/acknowledge middle names. So I don't think many people would make any connection no matter which first name from your list you choose. x All wonderful names!

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 16/08/2018 17:46

Prefer James as a first name

ReginaPhalange89 · 16/08/2018 19:08

Henry

Joeybee · 16/08/2018 19:09

Arthur James flows best I would say. Plus I love the name Arthur, it's so sweet but also a name that works well on an adult.

Oly5 · 16/08/2018 19:18

Henry. I have a Harry and love all the variants of the name. We’ve never met another either!

DC2018 · 16/08/2018 19:19

I like Henry James best. Charlie James is nice aswell but I did think of James Arthur x

deptfordgirl · 16/08/2018 19:21

Arthur. Not a fan of Charlie personally and Henrys are everywhere.

aliceinchunderland1 · 16/08/2018 21:39

Thanks all, I'm swaying towards Arthur too as I think it'll suit him at any age. So hard thinking of boys names, before we knew the sex we had hundreds of girls names on the list!

@aliceinchunderland1 Arthur James sounds wonderful!

Totally know what you mean! We had such an easy time with girl names! When we found out we were having a boy, it totally threw us for a loop! Really struggling to find names we love and more importantly, that hubby and I agree on! x
