Curious to know peoples opinions on my choices as I can't seem to decide. I live in the West of Scotland if that helps.

Henry
Harvey
Elias
Emrys
Caleb

Henry is the only one I like on that list - but I like it a lot.

Susannach · 01/08/2018 15:25

Emrys is nice and unusual and of your options it’s the one which sounds pretty much identical in English and Polish when sight-read. Obviously names like Henry and Elias would also be fine since they’re very familiar in Europe.

Emrys and Elias are Welsh and very lovely.

Not keen on Harvey too showbiz.
I like Caleb. Henry is a bit dull

FlopsyRabbit89 · 01/08/2018 16:24

Henry is very strong and regal so I love that one.
Caleb is ok too

kello · 01/08/2018 16:37

Dislike Henry.

Elias is my favourite.

ReginaPhalange89 · 01/08/2018 16:59

I like Caleb , other than that Henry but I'm not loving it. Not keen on the others sorry ! I'm west of Scotland too

moredoll · 01/08/2018 17:00

I quite like Henry but it's not really a west of Scotland name is it? Prefer Harry for the playground.

TurquoiseWeekend · 01/08/2018 17:03

I love Henry and Caleb. Great names.

Tartyflette · 01/08/2018 17:09

Emrys is very Welsh which is great if you're Welsh or from a Welsh background. Otherwise not so much. and people will ask where in Wales you're from

moleeye · 01/08/2018 17:22

Elias is top of my list if it's a boy at my dating scan 😊

pilates · 01/08/2018 17:23

Henry

MariaMadita · 01/08/2018 17:24

I don't know what would work best in Poland, tbh...

Henry: nice.
Harvey: no.
Elias: yes!
Emrys: not my cup of tea but nice.
Caleb: ok.

WaverleyOwl · 01/08/2018 17:26

I have a Henry and am in the West of Scotland, so I vote that 😁 Also, wouldn't go for the others. So there's that too.

LeeMiller · 01/08/2018 17:43

Henry, Elias, Caleb.

batshitbetty · 01/08/2018 17:43

Caleb always makes me think of a religious fanatic or a serial killer, but like the rest of them

MikeUniformMike · 01/08/2018 18:16

Henry - ok
Harvey - ok
Elias - not keen
Emrys - unusual. Welsh
Caleb - I like it a lot but not everyone does.

Which one sounds and looks best with your surname?
I think I'd go for Emrys or Caleb as I think they'd sound good with a scottish accent.

MikeUniformMike · 01/08/2018 18:16

Caleb could be Cal for a nn.

ViserionTheDragon · 01/08/2018 18:20

Henry, Caleb and Elias are nice. Harvey makes me think of Harvey Weinstein Sad

Icklepup · 01/08/2018 18:24

I like Henry and Elias.

DaniCam89 · 01/08/2018 19:02

Thanks everyone for the opinion so far. Henry and Elias seem the most popular I think. OH is taking my surname when we get married and baby will also have my surname which is Campbell. x
