what do we think please? I know it's bit different but it would work in different countries/cultures which I'm keen on

Yup got the flap reference aswell

Livia is lovely.

Flavia also nice.

Lavia not.

snowplop · 06/06/2018 04:28

This may be totally irrelevant but Lavia would be Rabia in Japan - they pronounce ls as rs and vs as bs.

eggncress · 06/06/2018 04:33

Olivia , so she can have the choice to use this when older and you can shorten it to Livia which is lovely.
My dd was glad to be able to use the extended version of her name once she reached her teens.

Livia is great, one of my faves!

Lavia, same as the others I read this as Labia or Latvia. Lavinia could be an option?

lottiegarbanzo · 06/06/2018 10:24

Livia is lovely, nicer than Olivia IMO.

MrsCD67 · 06/06/2018 17:12

Livia looks and sounds unfinished to me.
She'd forever be saying 'it's Olivia without the O'

nooka · 06/06/2018 17:20

I live Livia and Lavinia but not Lavia. Just makes me think of washing/ soap.

AlliKaneErikson · 07/06/2018 09:11

Hmm, no. What about Lana, Lara, Lyra as well as Livia or Flavia, as pp have said?
