Love Celia!! And I like Alistair and Jonathan. I can see why you'd not put the boy middle names the other way round but I think you could use most of your girls' middle names with Celia. Congratulations OP Flowers

Jj2431 · 31/05/2018 19:44

I like Frances Anna and Grace Elizabeth

Boys I like Edward Arthur

Peachbubble · 31/05/2018 19:49

Jonathan Arthur is great too.

I love Mary Lillian, Grace Elizabeth and Alistair William

winterwonderly · 31/05/2018 20:08

I love Celia, that's what we were going to call our baby if it was a girl, but it turned out to be a boy!

InkSnail · 31/05/2018 20:14

Anna Florence

Alistair William

BB2018 · 31/05/2018 20:14

Thanks all for your votes - fairly even split so far!

winter I actually dreamt about the name Celia and woke up realising I loved it! What did you call your DS?

Anna Florence sounds lovely and I also like Celia. Edward Arthur for a boy.

MrsCD67 · 31/05/2018 20:45

I think Mary Elizabeth or Mary Florence would be beautiful

BB2018 · 31/05/2018 20:55

I think Mary Florence has a bit of a nun vibe, hence the combos we’ve chosen!

winterwonderly · 31/05/2018 21:07

@BB2018 we called him Peter.

Belindabauer · 31/05/2018 21:08

Anna and Lawrence.

Ahh, lovely winter - it’s a name we have in my family, too

Lovely names! I really like Mary Lilian, Celia Florence and Jonathan Arthur, but I think my favourites are Anna Florence and Laurence Arthur.

Joeybee · 01/06/2018 06:33

We have very similar name styles, I love these names.

For a girl I like Celia Florence and Anna Florence best as they flow really well and are traditional but feel individual.

Ellen Frances- Personal reasons I just don't like the name Ellen...but without my own personal associations I also think this is a good name.
Mary Lillian - Love it, but the two names don't sound right together.
Frances Anna - Sounds very dated.
Grace Elizabeth - Elizabeth Grace sounds better.

For boys I like Arthur William and Edward Arthur best.

Alistair William - This is a nice name, just don't like it as much as the other two.
Laurence Arthur - Not sure it flows very well, but a nice name.
Jonathan Arthur - Too dated.

Flamingosnbears · 01/06/2018 07:45

Alistair and Ellen stand out to me... Alistair William and Ellen Frances.

Flamingosnbears · 01/06/2018 07:46

Have you thought of Mary Ellen they go really well together...

BB2018 · 01/06/2018 08:47

I agree Mary Ellen flows very well but sounds a bit too Little House on the Prairie for us! Or like a hyphenated name we forgot to hyphenate!

Have you thought of Antonia with Anna for short?
Antonia Frances sounds nice.

Laurence Edward for a boy, fab name!

BB2018 · 01/06/2018 18:13

auntyflo happy with the shortlist we have, thanks, just looking for votes on that.

Celia Florence is a gorgeous name! As for boys, I’d probably choice Laurence out of your list, not a fan of Arthur because it reminds me of the aardvark and nothing else Grin

BB2018 · 01/06/2018 18:44

Haha, hadn’t made the Arthur Aardvark connection!

When I think aardvark, I think Otis (showing my age probably!)
