We were going to call our baby Clarice if it was a girl (it was a boy! :-))

Cosmoa · 29/05/2018 17:50

We've just named our daughter Eska. And in our postnatal room we had two other girls names Iza and Ezri Smile

Lovely Cos can I ask if that’s in the UK? I have never heard any of those names before. Really love Eska!

@Insponeeded yep in the North West!

Not a baby, but professionally I’ve come across someone called Dr Mercy Marvel. Which is such a wonderful name.

I know an Eska! It’s a lovely name. Someone at work recently called their son Ptolomy. I’m not so keen on that.

I met a woman at a baby expo and got chatting. She told me she had a one year old baby boy and she (like me) struggled with names. She eventually picked a really (imho) unique, cute but strangely traditional sounding name:
Bellamy.
Now I'd never use that name, but I think it's fantastic.

RedDwarves · 29/05/2018 22:22

Milou Genevieve.

My friend's new baby girl. Smile

theredjellybean · 29/05/2018 22:24

Dd2 was going to be Ptolomy.. It's a silent p...apparently. I quite liked it pronounced p.. Tol. Om... Nee

noitsachicken · 29/05/2018 22:27

These are the best names?!
Unusual, unique, interesting, but wonderful?
I have to disagree!

Joeybee · 29/05/2018 23:05

Also I love Rafferty, think that's just beautiful.

InflagranteDelicto · 29/05/2018 23:11

Eben. Saw it on a gravestone, love it. Not having another just so I could use it though.
