Juliet and Josephine

Ashley and Blair sound like two boys. Also thought of Tony.

Love Annabelle and Juliet.

@FizzyGreenWater, love your name choices.

userabcname · 11/05/2018 19:26

I like Juliet Billie and Annabelle Blair.

Thanks all. We have decided to name one twin Stella Madeleine or Stella Blair, Stella is a family name and really important to me. For our other little girl, we will decide between Juliet Billie and Annabelle Blair when we see her, I think what suits will just click.

Not a huge fan of Blythe or Blanche as suggested. I can imagine they are very 'in' right now - very granny-chic and all.. just not to my taste though.

When it comes to nicknames, I love Annie for Annabelle, which is half of the attraction to the name for me, so she would probably be Annie most of the time. Probably wouldn't nickname Stella or Juliet, though I don't mind Julie for Juliet.
I think they sound well together? Stella and Annie, or Stella and Juliet?

They sound like great choices OP.

Best of luck, twins are hard work in the early days but awesome.

Blair is an excellent name - if you are a boy! It's a good, strong, Scottish name. I know heaps, and all are male. No idea why Americans do this with names (give their daughters male names).

Juliet is the less frilly of the two most common spellings, and (in case you change your mind about your choices, it would go really nicely with Isobel, rather than Isabelle. or Annabel rather than Annabelle. Mind you, I don't like frilly names or spellings Grin.

Juliet and Isobel
Juliet and Annabel
Juliet and Stella
Stella and Annabel

I wouldn’t have Stella if you have a Stefan, too similar sounding to me.

Juliet and Annabel would be lovely.

BlackberryandNettle · 12/05/2018 21:13

They're all nice except for Blair, which just sounds to me like someone sticking their tongue out and making a horrible , at-the-doctor-having-throat-checked type sound

buttercup54321 · 13/05/2018 00:03

Caroline and Juliet. Perfect.

throwawayagain · 13/05/2018 00:05

Blair and Stella. Smile

MrsFoxPlus4 · 13/05/2018 00:05

I have a Everly & a Stella.

I’d choose Blair & Stella

starkid · 13/05/2018 07:19

Juliet Renee and Stella Madeleine :)

DramaAtTheTurkeyCafe · 15/05/2018 20:15

Ashley and Blair are boys' names to me. If you still love Blair I'd be inclined to use it as a middle name, because I think if you use it as a first name there will be times when it causes misunderstandings.

My favourites from your revised list are Juliet Renee and Stella Madeleine.

iris96 · 16/05/2018 00:59

I think I'd go for - Annabelle & Caroline, Isabelle & Madeleine, Caroline & Juliet.

Potential middle names:

Annabelle Genevieve
Annabelle Imogen
Annabelle Lorraine

Caroline Victoria
Caroline Grace
Caroline Elizabeth

Isabelle Louise
Isabelle Alexandra
Isabelle Adrienne

Madeleine Rose
Madeleine Primrose
Madeleine Jane

Juliet Stephanie
Juliet Evangeline
Juliet Olivia

MikeUniformMike · 16/05/2018 20:40

Isabel and Caroline.
