Elle, Anna, Lana or Tamsin?

My OH loves Elle but it doesn't really go with our surname so not 100% sure.

What do you think about the others? Are they a bit boring?

I prefer Lana and Tamsin, and actually find Elle a little boring (She in French)

Anna, by a mile. Fabulous underused name. Tamsin is nice too. Not at all keen on Elle or Lana (Alanna is a pretty alternative, though).

I love Anna and would have used it if I had had a girl. I am not that keen on Elle, it just seems a bit weird to be called “She” in French, and it just sounds like L, but that may just be me! I definitely don’t think Lana and Tamsin are boring, although they are not my cup of tea personally.

Love the name Elle. It's so pretty and would suit an adult as well as a child imo. I also like Anna though think Elle is nicer. Not really a fan of Lana or Tamsin though.

I LOVE Anna, was the top of our list for a girl (although we didn’t end up using it!). Lana is beautiful too. Not so keen on the other 2 but that’s just personal choice, they’re all nice names Smile

Elle - weak sounding

Anna - dreadfully dull

Lana - classy

Tamsin - I like but does give rise to the potential for the nickname “Tammy” which would drive me bonkers.

Elle is really overdone around here( southwest)

Anna is classic but a bit...forgettable

Lana sounds like a stripper’s name to me

I like all of them, but Elle the least. Anna or Tamsin for me, although I'd assume a Tamsin to be quite posh Grin but that's because I only know a couple and they are a bit posh..

Anna is too boring, Elle way too overused, Lana is a bit sex worker, Tamsin - I’ve never liked. Anything else?
