I'vÉ™ gone from despising the name April to falling in love with it. However I do think there has to be a connection to the month to use it.
I go hot and cold on Lily. I detested it the other day. I quite like it today.Grin.
I think it's one of those depends who has it names. Gorgeous on some. Horrible on others.
You can't fault Emma. Cute for a child. Cool for teenager. Powerful and strong for an adult. Belongs in every class. (Middle working upper).

April, easy to pronounce, not wacky, probably be the only one in school which is a bonus.

Emma, bit boring but a classic. Only know one child called Emma who is 8.

Lily, snoozeville. Know about 6 so they all have be called Lily T, Lily M etc.

April is a name I've always loathed but can't explain why.

thanks guys, so April and Emma seem to be the favourites here. Do you think it matter she's not born in April? That's making me hesitant to use it

@happydadpp I don't think it makes any difference :) I know loads of people called June born in different months!

I really like April! It’s short but different and reminds me of blooms and loveliness! Next up Emma, but it’s such a different style. Not keen on Lily, sorry!
